5. Consumer Guarantees and Refunds

  • Inquiries and Quotes: Submitting an inquiry or receiving a quote via the Site is free and does not create any payment or refund obligations unless a formal agreement is entered into. Larger system quotes with site inspection requirements may incur a quotation cost which is wavered upon acceptance of the quote. This will be clearly detailed prior to engaging in the quotation process. 

  • Services (if applicable): If you engage our services following an inquiry, those services come with guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) that cannot be excluded. For example:

    • Services will be provided with due care and skill, fit for purpose, and delivered within a reasonable time.

    • If a service fails to meet these guarantees, you may be entitled to a remedy (e.g., re-performance of the service or, for major failures, a refund or compensation).

  • Any refund or remedy will be handled on a case-by-case basis in accordance with ACL requirements. Specific terms (e.g., cancellation, deposits) will be outlined in any written agreement provided post-quote.

6. Australian Consumer Law (ACL) Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. For major failures with the service, you are entitled:

You are also entitled to have the service remedied if a failure in the service is not major and it is not a failure of a kind deemed major under the ACL.

8. Governing Law These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in New South Wales.
